We value honesty, personal hygiene, and a positive attitude. You should enjoy keeping our home clean and fresh, have a passion for cooking, and possess good time management skills that allow for short breaks during a busy workday.

You should be comfortable in a vegetarian household that accepts only eggs and vegetarian foods in the kitchen. We kindly ask that non-vegetarian meals be enjoyed outside the home or on your days off, as meat or seafood are not permitted in our home.

In our vegetarian and egg-based diet, we love to explore a variety of cuisines, such as Chinese dumplings, Japanese noodles, Italian pasta and pizza, Indian dishes from both the South and North, Indonesian salads and noodles, and Middle Eastern falafel, among others. Your passion for cooking is essential, as we prefer healthy home-cooked meals every day.

We are a welcoming international family. Our family consists of a mom from the US (who speaks English and Mandarin) and a dad from India (who speaks English, Hindi, and Japanese). Our child currently in elementary school, and we might welcome a newborn soon. We are also considering getting a dog. One grandmother regularly stays with us, while other grandparents visit for about a month each year. Our home is filled with warmth and respect.

• Applicants should be free of health issues, depression, loan difficulties, and negative behaviors. Proficiency in both written and spoken English is required. The start date is flexible within July or August, and this can be discussed further.
• Our usual day off is Sunday; however, there is flexibility to swap this with other days or work on selected off-days for additional pay if required by the employer due to guests, travel, or other reasons.
