👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 About Us

Hello! We are a warm and cheerful expatriate family living in the West Coast area of Singapore, a friendly neighbourhood with great access to markets, shops, and parks. Our family is a mix of Australian and Japanese backgrounds, and we have two lovely daughters aged 10 and 8 who are kind, active, and full of curiosity. We also have a very well-behaved pet cat who is part of our family — she’s gentle and easy to care for, but safety around windows and doors is very important to us.

We are a happy household that enjoys laughing, sharing meals together, and occasionally entertaining friends at home. We’re looking for someone who would enjoy being part of this positive and supportive environment.

👩‍🍳 Job Scope

This is a live-in role focused on:

• Childcare during the day while we are at work (playing, school drop-off/pick-up, preparing meals, supporting learning, etc.)

• Marketing & grocery shopping (from both wet markets and supermarkets)

• Cooking (we do not expect professional skills, but a willingness to learn and try new recipes is important; cooking with pork is required)

• General housekeeping (cleaning, laundry, ironing, etc.)

• Pet care (mainly ensuring our cat is safe indoors and loved — especially keeping windows and doors shut for safety)

• Honest, kind, and responsible

• Good attitude, cheerful and positive in nature

• Willing to learn new things

• Comfortable around children and pets

• Independent, especially when shopping or planning meals

• Familiar with local wet markets and supermarkets

• Respectful of safety, especially with our high-floor windows and cat

• Able to handle and cook with pork

• Preferably from a Christian, Catholic, or Buddhist background

Prior cooking experience is not necessary, but if you enjoy cooking or want to learn, that’s a big plus!
