Experienced Domestic Helper for Dementia Care Elderly Male

About Us:

• Household Size: Our primary care focus is on one elderly grandfather (Ah Gong) with no grandmother (Ah Ma). His daughter visits and stays over on weekends.
• Location: Conveniently located in Hougang, Singapore.
• Pets: There are no pets in the home.
• Ah Gong's Language: He speaks English, Mandarin, and some Malay.
• About Ah Gong: He is not overweight and can walk independently, though he may require support at times.

Job Responsibilities:

• Eldercare Routine: Manage daily schedules, provide medication reminders, and offer companionship to Ah Gong.
• Mobility Support: Supervise Ah Gong while he walks independently to ensure his safety.
• Household Management: Perform general cleaning, laundry, and keep the home organized.
• Ad-hoc Duties: Complete other domestic and caregiving tasks as assigned by the employer.

Requirements:

• Experience: Prior expertise in managing elderly individuals with dementia is essential. Understanding that dementia care requires extra patience is crucial.
• Availability: We prefer a transfer helper currently based in Singapore.

What We Offer:

• Salary: SGD 800 - 1,000 per month, commensurate with experience in dementia care.
• Off-days: Open to discussion based on mutual agreement and compensation preferences.
• Accommodation: A private room will be provided along with adequate rest time.
