A private household in Orchard, Singapore is seeking a trustworthy, experienced, and highly organised live-in domestic helper to support the smooth running of a modern condominium home.

The ideal candidate will possess integrity, professionalism, initiative, and a genuine sense of pride in maintaining a well-managed and comfortable household environment.

Essential Requirements

- Strong spoken and written English communication skills.

- Excellent cooking abilities across a variety of cuisines, with proven experience in:

- meal planning,

- grocery shopping,

- food preparation, and

- kitchen and pantry management.

- Exceptional housekeeping standards with meticulous attention to cleanliness and organisation.

- Ability to follow and maintain structured daily routines for cooking, cleaning, and household upkeep.

- Proactive mindset with sound judgement and the ability to work independently.

- Commitment to maintaining a calm, orderly, and efficiently run home environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Daily cooking lunch and dinner and food preparation.

- Weekly meal planning and grocery management.

- Pantry organisation and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.

- General housekeeping, laundry, and ironing.

- Maintaining a tidy, organised, and clutter-free home.

- Assisting occasionally with small gatherings or welcoming guests.

About the Employer

The employer is a professional British female who has been based in Singapore for approximately 30 years. She values discretion, reliability, professionalism, and a strong sense of responsibility within the home.

There are currently no children or pets in the household, although a small pet may be introduced in the future. The successful candidate will be provided with a private bedroom and private bathroom for comfort and privacy.

Please note that housekeeping expectations are aligned more closely with luxury hotel or executive household standards rather than basic domestic cleaning. Applicants should therefore be comfortable operating at a consistently high standard of cleanliness, presentation, and organisation.

Terms of Employment

- Start Date: As soon as possible

- Day Off: One day per week (Sunday)

- Home Leave: Two weeks after completion of each two-year contract

- Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience
