Family of 3 + 2 dogs looking for full time helper

Family Profile

We are a family of five living in the East Coast area—husband, wife, our 2.5-year-old daughter, and two dogs aged 10 and 5.

Our daughter attends pre-school, and we are very hands-on parents. We are looking for a helper who will support our home, not replace us as primary caregivers.

Role Overview: This is not a full-time childcare role.

The main focus is to support our household through:

• Cooking
• General home management
• Occasional support with our child and dogs

Main Responsibilities

1. Cooking (Very Important)

• Prepare daily meals for the family
• Be proactive in meal planning
• Willing to learn and try new recipes (we will share and teach as well)
• Enjoy cooking and take pride in preparing meals

2. Household Chores

• General cleaning and tidying
• Laundry and ironing
• Grocery shopping and basic errands
• Maintain a clean, organised, and well-managed home

3. Childcare Support (Not Primary Caregiver): Must have experience with toddlers

• Occasional pre-school drop-off and pick-up
• Prepare meals/snacks for our daughter
• Assist with feeding and putting her down for naps (when needed)
• Be attentive, calm, and responsible

4. Dog Care: Must be comfortable handling dogs

• Walk the dogs when needed
• Handle them safely and responsibly
• We manage most care, but may need support occasionally (e.g. when working late or travelling)
