Family with 1 infant looking for transfer helper

Hi helpers,

My wife and I are first-time parents based in Singapore and we are looking for a transfer helper to join our household around September 2026. We are only looking for applicants who are currently employed in Singapore and whose current employer is willing to transfer them in September 2026 (non-negotiable). We are looking for someone experienced with newborn care who is interested in a stable, respectful and long-term working environment.

What we offer:

• Salary starting from $750 and open for discussion based on experience
• Helper will have her own comfortable room
• Bathroom shared with only 1 other person
• Baby will attend infant care during the daytime, so helper will not need to care for baby during most daytime hours
• Helper will be able to rest at night and will not need to sleep with the infant
• 3 Sundays off per month (or 4 Sundays if there is a 5 Sunday month)
• Employer will ensure proper daily rest and uninterrupted sleep hours
• Respectful and supportive first-time parents who value good communication and teamwork

Requirements:

• Applicant MUST currently be employed in Singapore and current employer must be willing to transfer helper in September 2026 (non-negotiable)
• Age 23–40
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
• Previous experience in Singapore with at least 1 completed 2-year contract
• Experienced in independently caring for 0–6 month newborns
• Familiar with: - night feeding routines - bottle sterilisation - recognising signs of illness in babies - supporting postpartum mothers
• Able to cook simple Chinese meals and willing to learn recipes from employer
• Able to manage groceries, laundry and ironing
• Patient, clean, organised and able to follow schedules
• Not defensive when corrected and willing to learn
• Mobile phone use restricted during working hours except emergencies
