Helper for Norwegian Family;Housekeeping, Cooking & Pet Care

We are a family from Norway and have lived in Singapore for 3.5 years without a helper. We have two boys (5 and 7 years old), a 3-month-old Cocker Spaniel puppy, and a rabbit. We are now looking for someone who can help us with household tasks so that we can spend more quality time with our kids.

The role will primarily be to support the smooth day-to-day running of our household, including general housekeeping (cleaning, tidying, dishwashing), laundry, walking the dog, and taking responsibility for grocery shopping and preparing all daily meals, including the children’s snack boxes.

We are looking for someone who can plan a weekly menu, align it with us, do the grocery shopping, and cook. Today we mainly eat Western food, but we are open and positive to trying Asian/Chinese food as well.

The apartment has standard appliances in place (dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer).

My wife is at home and films food content about three times a week. During this time, it is important that she is not disturbed, and that tasks outside of the home are planned during the same period when possible. Filming will create additional dishes and washing up that need to be taken care of.

Normally, during summer and Christmas break, we will be away for about three weeks. During this time, you would stay and take care of the dog and rabbit.

Rest days will be every Sunday and public holidays off.

We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible, but we can also wait for the right candidate, as we have managed by ourselves for some years already.
