Helper – Home Management and Child Logistics (Singaore)

Role summaryWe are a busy family seeking a confident, proactive live-in helper with strong home management skills. Our children are school-aged and independent, so the focus is on safe supervision and logistics rather than entertainment, plus keeping the household running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Child logistics and supervision• Manage school runs, CCAs, clubs and play dates• Prepare bags, water bottles, uniforms and activity kits• Communicate pick-up and drop-off changes promptly• Ensure safety at all times

• Home management• Keep the home clean, tidy and well organised• Daily cleaning, weekly deep cleans, laundry and ironing• Maintain household checklists and a simple weekly plan

• Meals and groceries• Plan family menus with us and prepare healthy meals• Create grocery lists, coordinate online orders or market runs• Use initiative to keep staples fully stocked and avoid last-minute shortages

• Household admin• Track basic supplies and maintenance needs• Receive deliveries and manage simple errands• Keep receipts and a small expense log

Requirements

• Prior experience running a household and supporting older children

• Strong organisation, time management and attention to detail

• Able to plan menus and cook a range of family meals

• Confident navigating Singapore by MRT/bus and using apps for maps, messaging and groceries

• Clear communicator in English and comfortable following routines and checklists

• Trustworthy, discreet and calm under pressure

Practical details

• Location: Central West, Singapore

• Schedule: Mon–Fri, occasional Sat morning by prior agreement

• Rest day: Sunady and public holidays

• Accommodation: own room

• Start date: 1st November Onwards
