Helper who is independent and takes initiative

We are a family of 3 (2 adults and 1 toddler 1 baby soon) looking for a responsible, patient and caring helper to join our home.

Job Responsibilities:

- Perform general household chores – sweeping, mopping, laundry, ironing and cleaning.

- Maintain cleanliness, neatness and organisation of the house at all times (very important for us)

- Pick up after the mess of a toddler (may be more than once a day)

- provide support in caring for toddler (main carer is still the mother and she goes to school). This includes morning routine and/or if we're going out/coming back (prepare uniform, school bags, water bottles, diaper bag, snacks, unpacking etc.). Responsible for feeding and sometimes help with putting to sleep.

- Some days send and pick up toddler to/from school.

- Be cheerful, patient and able to engage, play and interact well with children

- Cook daily meals for the family (non-spicy, child-friendly food). Know how to take charge of the kitchen and food management. Must be able to take initiative on this, especially cooking different things for the toddler everyday

- Prepare simple and healthy meals suitable for children.

Requirements:

• Able to follow instructions and work independently. When corrected, take it as constructive criticism. Need to have high standards of hygiene and cleaning and organising standards, and remembering instructions/routine

• Patient, trustworthy, responsible and hardworking.

• Good safety awareness, especially when caring for children.

• Must know how to manage children well.

• Can understand and speak English.
