Indonesian-western family with baby looking for helper

We are a friendly expat family living in Singapore with a 6-month-old baby boy. We are looking for a kind, experienced and independent helper to join our family, starting on 1 November 2026.

About the job

• Baby care: Daily care of our son, including feeding, bottles and sterilising, bathing, nappies, naps and play. Sometimes you will look after him alone for a full day or overnight. In the future, this may include a second baby.
• Cooking: Cooking family meals from our recipes and weekly menu, including Western, Asian and other cuisines. Baking and simple desserts. Preparing baby food (purées and solids).
• Housekeeping: Cleaning, laundry, ironing and washing dishes.
• Hosting: Helping with dinner parties and BBQs at home: grocery shopping from our menu, food preparation, serving and cleaning up.
• Organising your day: We share the menu and priorities, and you plan and organise your own day.

What we are looking for

• Good spoken English, as we communicate in English only.
• Hands-on experience caring for babies under 1 year old.
• Confident cooking from recipes, including Western food and baking.
• Comfortable cooking all meats, including pork.
• Independent and organised, and tells us early if something is wrong.
• Honest, calm and patient, and open to feedback.
• A stable work history and a reference from your current or previous employer.
