Large Expat Family Looking for Second Burmese Helper

We’re a big, happy German family looking for a second Burmese helper. Our kids are two girls aged 13 and 10, a little boy aged 5, and 6-month-old boy-girl twins. Our current helper is Burmese, 27 years old, and has been with us for almost three years. She is warm and uncomplicated, and is looking forward to welcoming you, working with you, and introducing you to the community of Burmese helpers in our condo.

We live in Dairy Farm, connected by the Downtown Line MRT as well as buses 972M, 973, and 966. There’s a cozy helper room just for you with a window and ceiling fan, plus a private bathroom. The three older kids are in full-day school – the girls don’t need any support getting to and from school, and when they are home they like to read or study. Our five-year-old boy is friendly and quiet, he likes playing at the condo playground after school. So the main tasks are caring for the twins, keeping the household tidy, and cooking. These tasks can be split flexibly between you and our current helper, depending on preference and experience.

We offer one off day per week and two weeks of paid vacation each year. The off day can be a Sunday 2-3 times a month in alignment with our current helper. The salary will be competitive, based on experience.
