Live-in Helper Job with Warm Family in Singapore

We are a kind, respectful, and easy-going family looking for a live-in helper to join our home long-term. We believe in treating our helper with respect, patience, and fairness, and we hope to find someone who will treat our family the same way.

About Our Family

Husband and Wife

• In Singapore for almost 4 years
• Husband is American and works in an office
• Wife is Canadian and works part-time from home
• We are in our late 30s
• We speak calmly, give clear instructions, and do not shout

Son (4 years old)

• Cheerful, friendly, and respectful
• Listens to adults and follows rules
• We teach him to listen to our helper the same way he listens to us
• Enjoys swimming, singing, reading, playing board games, building blocks, and playing pretend.
• Sleeps independently in his own room (not with parents or helper)

Dog (medium size, 2 years old)

• Friendly, gentle, and affectionate
• Trained and easy to handle on leash
• Enjoys walks, fresh air, playing ball, and meeting people and other dogs
• Walking her is a happy outdoor activity, not a difficult task 🐶.

Main Job Duties

Housekeeping

• General house cleaning and tidying
• Laundry and folding clothes
• Washing dishes
• Vacuuming and mopping
• Keeping kitchen and bathrooms clean and sanitary
• Basic plant care
• 👉 Our part-time cleaner comes once a week to help you with deep cleaning

Cooking

• Cook simple, healthy home food (Asian and Western)
• Prepare lunch and dinner
• Can go to different cooking classes if you would enjoy it 😅
• No restaurant or complicated cooking required

Child Care

• School drop-off and pick-up
• Our son goes to school 8:45am to 5pm
• Babysitting on Saturdays and at bedtime once or twice a week

Dog Care

• Walk the dog 20–30 minutes in the morning
• Walk the dog 20–30 minutes in the evening
• Walking times are flexible and part of daily routine

Future Baby

• We hope to have a baby in the next 2 years
• When that happens, helper duties will include:
• Washing baby clothes
• Cleaning and preparing bottles
• Keeping baby items clean
• Mother will be home full-time
• Helper will not be a full-time nanny

Working Hours & Rest

• Normal daily working hours (7am to 8pm with meal times and midday rest)
• Breaks/rest time during the day
• Open communication if helper needs help or clarification
