Live-in helper wanted (Expat family)

I am hoping to find a wonderful, friendly helper who can support my family. Ideally, you can start working for us in March 2024.

 

** IMPORTANT: We are looking for transfer helpers only, so you must already be in Singapore. You must be fully vaccinated. We would also prefer a helper who is a Christian - any nationality.**

 

We are an expat family of 5 (husband, wife, 3 children aged 13, 11 and 9), and also have one dog (big!). We live in a 3 bedroom HDB.

I go on work trips (overseas) often, so I will especially need your support to make sure that the children (+ dog) are well supported while I am away. My children are not little/young, so you won't need to do a lot for them. The important thing to do is good housekeeping and dog-sitting (he is big, but friendly and toilet trained)

 

We are hoping to find a helper who can:

• Keep the house clean and tidy, and well organised

• Prepare and cook meals daily, and do grocery shopping

• Prepare snacks for my children when they come home from school

• Prepare food for our dog, take him out for walks during the day (1-2 times)

• Do laundry (we have a lot of laundry to do, as we are a big family!)

• Speak English (basic is ok). We are not a Chinese-speaking family (we are expats) so English will be the main language for us.

• Be respectful, with a good / helping attitude

• Communicate proactively with us

 

What we can offer you is:

• Starting salary between $700 - 900 per month, for live-in helper (Based on experience and skills. We can increase your salary if we are happy with your service, after 6 months)

• Live-in helper: Off-days every Sunday (4 per month)

• Food, drinks, snacks (included in our grocery shopping)

• Access to our home wifi

• Space to sleep in one of my children's bedroom + storage space for your personal items

To employ you, I will need to:

• Interview you (phone/video call first, then interview at our house)

• Get a reference letter or call with your current/previous employer in Singapore (reference must be good/positive)

• See your recent health test results

• Verify your ID
