Looking for a Helper to Join Our Family – January 2027 (Direct Hire)

We're a family of 4 – 2 adults, a 5.5-year-old boy and a cat who's very much part of the family!

After 5.5 wonderful years with us, our current helper is moving overseas for a new opportunity, so we're looking for someone new to join our family long-term.

Main Responsibilities:

• Childcare is our biggest priority! School routines, meals, activities, basic reading and spelling, and plenty of playtime!

• Cooking: Preparing daily family meals, with our son's meals as a priority.

• Household management: Daily cleaning, laundry, groceries, organising the home and general upkeep.

• Pet care: Looking after our much-adored cat!

Who We're Looking For:

Someone trustworthy, independent, proactive, organised and a good communicator. Both parents work full-time, so we're hoping to find someone who can confidently manage the household without constant supervision.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone warm, patient, playful and who genuinely enjoys being around children.

Our current helper has become a trusted part of our family, especially for our son. We're hoping to find someone who can build that same sense of trust and security over time, while bringing her own personality and strengths to our home.

Start Date: January 2027, ideally early to mid-January for a proper handover.
