Looking for a helper in Singapore

About UsWe are a Chinese family based in Singapore (husband, wife, two‑month‑old baby, and one friendly cat). We are looking for a reliable live‑in helper who can first learn from our professional confinement nanny (the first month) and then take full charge of our baby while handling household tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Month 1 (Training): Work side‑by‑side with our confinement nanny to learn the baby’s routine (feeding, bathing, soothing, sterilising bottles, basic infant massage, etc.).

• From Month 2 onward (Independent Care):

  • Provide full daytime and overnight care for the baby (you will sleep in the baby’s room).

  • Monitor milestones, engage in age‑appropriate play, and keep daily activity logs.

• Housekeeping & Cooking (Daytime):

  • General cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping.

  • Prepare daily family meals; home‑style Chinese cooking is a strong plus.

Must‑Have Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience with newborns/infants, preferably with verifiable references.

• Comfortable sharing a room with the baby and providing overnight care.

• Able to communicate in English; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.

• Confident in household management and safe food handling.

• Pet‑friendly, patient, and genuinely passionate about child care.

Nice‑to‑Have

• Proven skill in Chinese cuisine or other nutritious home cooking.

• Formal infant‑care or first‑aid certification.

• Extensive track record of caring for multiple babies or long‑term placements.

Position Details

• Start date: about 28 August 2025.

• Accommodation: Live‑in; you will share an independent space with the baby.

• Rest days & salary: Competitive package commensurate with experience and in line with Singapore regulations.
