Malaysian couple with a cute toddler looking for a helper.

We're a Malaysian Chinese couple in our early 40s with a 16 month old toddler, looking for a live-in helper who's thoughtful, loves children, and has a great work ethic. Your main responsibility would be caring for our little kiddo - feeding, bathing, playing and interacting with her/ taking her for walks, especially when we're at work. She will also start school in Jan '24 so you will also need to take her to and from school on occasion. Beyond that, housekeeping like general cleaning of the house, toilets, laundry, changing bedsheets, ironing (according to a set schedule) - as well as cooking meals for the family will also be part of the scope. There will be some occasions where our mum / parents will stay in with us to visit our little one so the expectation is for you to cook for them as well, if we're eating in. You will have your own room in the yard (though because of space constraints, it will be a bunk bed with cabinets underneath - but it's still your private space at the very least). You will eat what we eat / you are free to cook what you want for your meals. As for day-offs - we're hoping that you're ok to take a day off every alternate Sunday and we will compensate you for the non-leave Sundays. However, we are more than happy to oblige if you have certain events or religious holidays where you need to take an extra Sunday off with early notice.
