Private Household Position – Dominican Republic

This position is for a private household in the Dominican Republic.

The family is a German family consisting of a single mother, her 12-year-old son, and the grandmother. The son does not require any childcare. The grandmother is largely independent but may occasionally appreciate some assistance with daily activities.

The most important quality we are looking for is a genuinely warm, kind, and positive personality. The ideal candidate is highly responsible, trustworthy, and enjoys living close to nature and the ocean. We are looking for someone who will feel comfortable becoming part of a peaceful family environment.

A key requirement is exceptional cooking ability. We are not simply looking for someone who can cook well—we are looking for someone who truly loves cooking and has excellent international culinary skills. A passion for preparing high-quality meals is essential. Experience with baking and dessert preparation would be a strong advantage, although it is not mandatory.

In addition, the candidate must take great pride in maintaining an exceptionally clean, organized, and well-managed household. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, meticulous, highly organized, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and order.

The apartment is completely separate from the employer’s home and is not located on the same property, allowing you to enjoy your own private space, independence, and personal lifestyle outside of working hours. This is not a live-in position.
