Singaporean British family looking for hardworking kind help

Hi! We are a warm and welcoming Muslim family of five living in a condominium in central Singapore. Our household consists of my husband, our two children (aged 6 and 4), my mother, and myself. We also have two cats.

We are looking for a kind, positive, responsible, and experienced Muslim helper who has worked in Singapore for at least five years. Ideally, we would love someone who is cheerful, level-headed, trustworthy, and takes pride in her work.

The main responsibilities would include:

• Cooking: We are a family that enjoys good food, so being a confident and capable cook is very important to us. We would especially appreciate someone who enjoys trying new recipes, takes initiative in preparing healthy and varied meals, and can plan meals independently.
• Housekeeping: Keeping the home very clean, tidy, and well-organised, with good attention to detail.
• Grocery shopping: Being familiar with Singapore and confident enough to independently visit supermarkets, select fresh ingredients, and manage grocery shopping.
• Pet care: Helping to care for our two cats, including feeding them and keeping their areas clean, particularly when we are travelling overseas.

As I am currently a stay-at-home mother, I will be primarily responsible for all childcare-related activities. However, I do plan to return to work within the next one to two years, so we would appreciate someone who is flexible and comfortable adapting as our family’s needs evolve.

Above all, we value a positive attitude, emotional maturity, honesty, and initiative. We would love to find someone who is calm, sensible, communicates well, and can manage her responsibilities independently without needing constant supervision.

Salary will be discussed based on experience and suitability.

We are specifically looking for someone who is interested in a long-term commitment of at least five years, rather than a short-term position. Our hope is to build a lasting relationship based on mutual respect, trust, and open communication.
