Singaporean Chinese Young Family looking for Helper

 

Hello!  

We are an easygoing family with 2 cats + 1 dog looking to welcome a helper who is willing to stay with us long term with 3 girls (2 young children and 1 baby in October 2024) in Queenstown. We are looking for someone who likes children, and has initiative and is able to cook for us on most weekday dinners as well as some general household chores. 

What we are looking for: 

1. At least 5 years in Singapore preferred. 
2. Have references from previous families. 
3. Willing to stay long term with us - at least 2 years but longer is better! 
4. Experience in caring for babies and young children preferred, but not necessary. 
5. Honest, patient and friendly. 
6. Have initiative and can work independently.
   
   

What we can offer: 

1. $600 - $900 based on your experience. 
2. Weekly 1 day off - Saturday / Sunday, at your preference, just let us know your off days for the next month in advance for us to plan. 
3. Start date flexible from now but latest by end August 2024. 
4. Central location at Queenstown 
5. (Nice) shared room with baby (who will be sleep trained and sleep through the night by around 5 months) 
6. Additional salary for off days that you do not wish to take. 
7. Will give increments the longer you stay with us. 
8. Paid for trip home every 2 years (up to 1 week) 

 

What your typical tasks will include: 

1. No fixed schedule per weekday except for sending kids to and from childcare, cooking dinner and showering them and putting them to sleep by latest 8PM. Not much during day time. If you finish your tasks you can rest / nap in the day. 
2. Cooking what you choose for dinner. 
3. Independent grocery shopping or order online. 
4. Household chores are based on what is needed to be done regularly, and by each week, no daily fixed timetable. 
5. For our pets - just need help with feeding and cat litterbox. We will walk our dog on our own.
