Transfer Helper Wanted – Singapore Chinese Family

We are looking for a transfer helper currently in Singapore, preferably an experienced Indonesian helper. Filipino and Myanmar helpers will also be considered if they meet our requirements.

We are a modern Singaporean Chinese family:

• 2 adults (Sir & Mam)
• 1 daughter, 15 years old
• No elderly care
• No pets
• HDB home

Main Requirements

• Able to speak and understand clear English
• Completed at least one full contract is strongly preferred
• Experience working with a Singaporean Chinese family is preferred
• Preferably has good and stable employment history in Singapore
• Cooking is VERY important
• Must be very clean, neat and organised
• Able to independently run the household without constant supervision

Main Duties

Cooking

• Able to prepare daily family meals
• Comfortable learning new recipes
• Able to plan meals and cook independently

Housekeeping

• Keep the home very clean, tidy and organised
• General cleaning
• Laundry and ironing
• Maintain good housekeeping standards

Marketing / Groceries

• Able to do grocery shopping at NTUC and supermarkets
• Comfortable buying fresh food from the wet market
• Able to manage household groceries independently (we will teach our style)

We are looking for someone who is honest, responsible, hardworking, clean, neat and takes pride in her work.

Working Arrangement

• Preferred: Transfer helper already working in Singapore
• Salary: Negotiable depending on experience and skills
• Sunday is the normal weekly rest day.
• We respect her weekly rest day. However, there may occasionally be a Sunday when our family needs her help. We would appreciate someone who is flexible and willing to work on an occasional Sunday by mutual agreement.
• Any Sunday rest-day work will be compensated separately according to MOM requirements, based on her monthly basic salary.

Interview & Cooking Assessment

We would like to interview suitable candidates in person.

For shortlisted candidates, we would also like to arrange a cooking assessment/trial at our home so that we can understand her cooking skills.
