Taiwanese-Singporean Family Looking for Helper

We are a Taiwanese-Singaporean family looking for a reliable helper to join us in in early to mid-October (flexible). My husband, me and 2 lovely children (10 and 4 years old) live in a 5-room HDB flat in Central Singapore (easy access to bus, mrt & shops). Recommendation & feedback from past employers preferred.

We are looking for a capable, cheerful,  positive, efficient and honest helper to join our family. You should be good with housework and kids (supervising, playing with them, and bringing them out for playdates & other activities when needed).

We cook at home almost everyday. You don't need to be an excellent cook, but should be able to cook simple dishes and follow recipes. It will be great if you are interested in cooking - there will be many opportunities for you to learn cooking in our home, as we are a family that enjoys food.

We are very busy household. We sleep & wake up early for work & school, so you must be physically & mentally prepared to work hard, fast, efficiently and be smart. You must be able to multi-task & manage your own time. You should be able to communicate well and clearly in English. You will need to be familiar with communication via WhatsApp, and be quick in replying to messages when needed.

Duties include: - Cleaning, laundry & ironing- Early morning preparations (kids' uniforms, breakfast, etc)- Bringing our younger child to school & fetching him home- Childcare when the kids are not at school & updating parents when we are not with them- Bringing the kids nearby for outdoor play - Arranging & bringing them for playdates & other activities when needed- Keep track of & manage a list of groceries & household items needed- Manage the household independently, when one of the parents need to travel for work- Prepare & cook meals for the family. You will begin by assisting, and cook full meals when you feel confident & ready.

What you will get:- Salary: Between $750 to $900, with a raise if you perform well- Sundays + 3 other self-chosen days off every year. (If we need you to work on an off day, we will substitute to another day OR reimburse you)- 8.30pm curfew on off days (to be discussed)- WiFi at home- Phone with a work number & data will be provided, but you must respond quickly- Transport allowance- Half-room with proper bed, storage space, fan & big window. (To be discussed), Shared bathroom, Safe, friendly & fair work environment
