International family inviting an honest hard-working helper

We are an international family (Ma’am is Blonde American and Sir is from India). Our happy family includes two adults and one 8-year-old child, with the possibility of a newborn in the future (though we're unsure). One grandmother visits us regularly and stays for a few months, while the other set of grandparents visit for one month each year. They are all kind, loving, and courteous elders.

 

We are welcoming a suitable helper who meets the following skills.

 

(1) It is essential to be sincere and completely honest. Please share any negative circumstances, loans, or other concerns during the interview. We need to understand any factors that may impact your job performance.

 

(2) You should be kind, good-natured, optimistic, diligent, and desire to live in harmony. Stay clear of any conflicts. Please confirm that you are not in depression, or argue with family every day, or face other issues that distract you from work.

 

(3) You must enjoy the responsibility of looking after the family and children while managing the home on your own.

 

(4) Cooking must be a passion of yours. We enjoy home-cooked meals every day, as great food holds significant importance for us. Being a vegetarian family, we incorporate eggs and vegetables into our meals. You will prepare various vegetarian dishes from cuisines such as Indian, Thai, Mexican, Chinese, Italian, and other Western styles. Be open to learning from recipes to create a diverse array of food options.

 

(5) Our home follows a vegetarian lifestyle. Bringing meat, seafood, or anything besides vegetables and eggs is not allowed. However, you can eat whatever you like when dining out on your days off.

 

(6) You should feel at ease with writing and speaking English well, as it is essential for communicating with us.

 

(7) Your soft-spoken manners, cleanliness, and hygiene are essential to be a good company to all of us.

 

(8) The contract provides for four Sundays off each month. Other holidays, including public or special days, are not included. Occasionally, we may require the ability to exchange your Sunday off for another day. Additionally, you might need to work on some Sundays, for which you will receive payment on your day off.

 

(9) It is essential to honor the contract and agree to a commitment of at least two years, ideally longer. Switching helpers is a significant burden for both the helper and the employer. The start date is flexible, and we can discuss it during the interview.

 

(10) You must have excellent time management and organizational skills to handle tasks such as cleaning, cooking, laundry, watering plants, grocery shopping, organizing expenses by receipt, receiving deliveries, managing dinners for guests when necessary, and any other tasks we request.
