**About Us:**

We are an American family of four with  a dynamic 5-year-old son and a vibrant 7-year-old daughter. We are moving to Singapore from Beijing this August 2024 for three or more years due to professional commitments. Our family values a nurturing, organized, and active lifestyle. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Helper who excels in childcare, cleaning, and cooking. It is important the helper speaks Chinese to support our bilingual Mandarin/English children who enjoy learning about cultural diversity

**Key Responsibilities:**

 **Childcare of Two Primary Aged Children**
 - Teaching values of self care, responsibility, and manners.
- Providing engaging, safe, and attentive. 
  - Assisting with daily routines (waking up, dressing, and personal hygiene, homework completion). 
  - Organizing activities to aid in the children’s development, with a focus on Chinese language and cultural learning.
  - Collaborating with parents on children’s schedules, including planning and accompanying them to various appointments, classes, and activities.

 **Cleaning:**
  - Conduct regular cleaning duties to ensure a clean, hygienic, and tidy household. 
  - Manage laundry and ironing tasks with care and efficiency.
  - Maintain an organized living environment conducive to children’s well-being and family comfort.

**Cooking:**
  - Plan and prepare nutritious daily meals for the family with an emphasis on healthy and diverse options.
  - Specialize in Chinese cuisine and occasionally prepare meals from various cultures to enrich the family’s palate.
  - Perform grocery shopping duties, adhering to dietary needs and preferences of the family.

**Requirements:**

- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role, focusing on childcare, household chores, and cooking.
- Chinese (Mandarin) speaking to aid in the cultural learning and language development of our children.
- Proficient in English for seamless communication with all family members.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and multitask with minimal supervision.
- Warm, patient, and friendly personality with high levels of energy and creativity.  
- A strong understanding of children’s developmental needs and interests.
- Certificate in first aid and childcare (highly desirable).
