Western Family looking for helper

We are a warm Romanian expat family of four who have lived in Singapore for the past 10 years. We have two children — a 15-month-old baby and a 5-year-old — and we are looking for a caring, long-term Domestic Helper to join our household.

We hope to find someone kind, honest, calm, energetic and optimistic who genuinely enjoys working with children and takes pride in keeping a happy, well-organized home. Child safety is extremely important to us; we value privacy, respect and professional ethics.

About our home

• Location: River Valley, Singapore
• 3-bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms
• No pets
• Separate helper’s room and bathroom

Working conditions

• Sundays off
• 2–3 weeks paid annual leave (flexible / negotiable)
• Willingness to travel with the family when needed
• Flexible and adaptable to family schedules

Main responsibilities

• Caring for our children with a strong focus on safety and well-being
• Organizing playdates and age-appropriate activities
• Preparing the children for school and making lunch boxes daily
• Accompanying and taking the children to classes and activities
• General household duties: cleaning, laundry, ironing, grocery shopping
• Cooking and keeping the home tidy and well organized

Skills and experience we are looking for

• Good command of English
• Baby care and child care experience
• Housekeeping and cooking
• Grocery shopping and household marketing
• Experience with Asian, Chinese or Singaporean cuisine; able to cook pork
• Respectful, patient, safety-conscious and positive attitude

Start date: March 2026 (negotiable)
