Western family looking for transfer helper

Transfer helpers only — must already be in Singapore. Start date: end September 2026.

**The household**

Landed property, no garden maintenance required. Three children: twins aged 7 and a 5-year-old. One small senior dog (low-maintenance, but needs feeding and gentle handling).

**Main responsibilities**

*Childcare — the core of the role*

- School drop-off and pick-up for all three children, daily

- Organising and coordinating playdates, including liaising with other families' helpers and parents

- Supervising the children at home: homework support, snacks, bath and bedtime routine

- Accompanying children to enrichment classes and weekend activities

*Cooking*

- Daily family meals, including packed lunches or snacks for school

- Willingness to cook a mix of cuisines and follow the family's preferences on healthy, protein-focused eating

*Housekeeping*

- General cleaning and tidying of a multi-storey home

- Laundry, ironing, changing bed linen

- Kitchen upkeep, grocery shopping as needed

*Pet care*

- Feeding, water, basic care of one small elderly dog

**What we're looking for**

- **Positive, can-do attitude** — someone cheerful with the children and unflustered by a busy household

- **Willing to learn** — open to feedback and to adapting to how our family does things; we're happy to teach

- **Stable employment history** — we're looking for someone who stays with a family long-term, and will ask about reasons for transfer

- Physically able to manage stairs throughout the day and to keep pace with three active young children on foot during school runs and outings

- Confident supervising three children simultaneously, including outside the home

- Able to swim or willing to learn (pool/beach outings)

- Conversational English, sufficient to communicate with the children and their school

- Experience with primary-school-aged children strongly preferred

- Comfortable around dogs

- Non-smoker

**Working arrangements**

- One rest day per week

- Own room

- Salary commensurate with experience
