Western Family with Young Kids looking for a Helper

We are a British / Russian family of four (parents, 2.5-year-old toddler, newborn arriving soon) seeking an experienced, calm helper. Toddler attends full-day daycare. Mother is primary caregiver for newborn. Role is household-focused with light childcare support.

Main Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning and household upkeep

• Weekly deep cleaning

• Laundry and ironing for whole family

• Grocery shopping and small errands

• Daily cooking (healthy, minimal oil; Asian & Western; able to follow recipes)

• Tidying common areas and toys once daily in the evening

• Care for household cat, we don't have a cat yet, but planning to get one soon (feeding, litter box, playtime; care during vacations)

Childcare

• Support only when parents are present

• Occasional babysitting for date nights (after children are asleep)

• No phone use around children

• No screen time for children

• All parental instructions must be followed

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience

• Preference for experienced transfer helper

• Experience with newborns and young children

• Independent, reliable, organized

• Calm, emotionally mature

• Good communicator, open to feedback

Working Conditions

• Standard helper working hours

• Day off: Sunday

• No night duties

• No regular travel

House Rules

• No visitors at home

• No posting children/family on social media

• Respect for privacy and personal space
