We are both nurses and work shift hours. We are looking for a long-term helper whom we can trust to mainly look after our newborn coming in October (confinement nanny will also be staying in for a month from the time baby is born so during that month, your main chore will be simple housework). You must also be comfortable with dogs as we will visit our parents (they are mandarin-speaking) on Fridays and Saturdays and they have a small dog at home.
Cooking is not needed but will always be a bonus.
We are open to you having one off day per week. Unfortunately, the off day may not necessarily fall on a Sunday as we work shift hours. We will assign your off day according to our work schedule.
For your sleeping arrangement, we will need you to sleep with baby but we will be the ones looking after baby at night.
When we are home, you do not need to look after baby but help with simple housework like vacuuming, moping, washing dishes (if any, as we seldom cook), putting clothes in washing machine and dryer, and occasionally washing toilets. We will be happy if you can take initiatives to clean up dusty areas like the windows. Of course, we allow breaks in-between.
We are a Christian/Catholic couple and hope to find a helper who shares the same religion.
Lastly, we live in a maisonette, hence there are two-storeys.
Even though baby is only coming in end October, we are happy to have you before baby’s arrival so you can ease into our family culture.
Hope to hear from you soon. Thank you 😊
