Young Family Looking for Full-time Helper

We are a couple in our 30s currently seeking a dedicated full-time domestic helper to join our household in Singapore on a long-term basis.

About Us

I am from China/Hong Kong and my husband is American. We value having a reliable partner at home who takes initiative and can anticipate our needs. We appreciate someone who is proactive and engaged in our household.

What We Are Looking For

We view this position as a long-term opportunity for the right person. Initially, it will involve easy responsibilities that will evolve as you grow with our family - your wage could increase accordingly. We are planning to welcome a large-breed puppy in the next three months and hope to start our family with our first child within the next 18 months. Your support will be invaluable in both areas:

• Dog care, including walking, feeding, cleaning, and basic training.
• Assisting with infant and child care, including nighttime support.

In addition to the aforementioned responsibilities, your daily tasks will include:

• Preparing and assisting with 2–3 meals a day, including food preparation and dishwashing.
• Maintaining general cleanliness and ironing, as hygiene is crucial; we aim for a clean and dust-free home.
• Caring for our plants by watering and nurturing them.
• Grocery shopping and managing errands around Orchard and Raffles Place.
• Occasionally meeting us at our office in Raffles Place to drop off travel or sports bags.

We seek someone who is a quick learner, takes initiative, and is comfortable working independently. Once your daily duties are accomplished, you will have the opportunity to relax and enjoy your free time.

It is essential to maintain confidentiality regarding our personal information, address, and any details about our home. This is of utmost importance to us.

Living Arrangement & Days Off

You will have your own private room with an attached bathroom and access to a separate kitchen, ensuring your comfort and safety while in our home.

We are supportive of flexible days off; they do not need to be the same each week.

Requirements

• Comfortable cooking, including handling pork, and open to learning new techniques by watching YouTube videos.
• Experience with pets, especially dogs and puppies, and prior infant care experience is highly advantageous.
