Domestic Helper Recruitment Requirements

Please recommend candidates who meet the following requirements:

1. Character

• Honest, responsible, kind, and patient.
• No history of theft, dishonesty, or other serious misconduct.
• The agency should verify the candidate’s employment history and character.

2. Cooking Skills

• Able to cook Chinese home-style meals.
• Experience making Chinese noodles, dumplings, buns, or other Chinese pastries is preferred.
• Willing to learn new recipes.

3. Language

• Able to communicate in basic Mandarin.
• Good spoken English for daily communication.

4. Experience & Physical Profile

• Approximately 2 years or more of domestic helper experience.
• Preferably 35 years old or younger.
• Preferably married.
• Around 160 cm tall.
• Physically fit with a healthy, proportionate build (not underweight or overweight).
• Energetic and able to care for an active toddler.

5. Childcare Experience

• Experienced in caring for children around 2 years old.
• Patient and enjoys playing, reading, and interacting with young children.
• Comfortable sleeping in the same room as the child when required.
• Attentive, safety-conscious, and able to keep the child engaged without excessive screen time.

6. Housekeeping

• Clean, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Able to maintain a high standard of household cleanliness and hygiene.

7. Health & Lifestyle

• In good physical health and free from infectious diseases.
• Good personal hygiene.
• Non-smoker.
• Does not snore excessively.

8. Personality

• Positive attitude and willing to learn.
• Able to follow instructions while taking initiative when appropriate.
• Calm, emotionally stable, and enjoys working with children.

9. Employer Reference (Strongly Preferred)

• Preference for candidates who have completed their previous contract(s).
• Previous employer reference or recommendation letter is highly preferred.
