Domestic Helper (Outdoor Cleaning – Primary / Cooking – Secondary)

Job Summary

The Domestic Helper is primarily responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in the outdoor areas of the residence. Cooking and meal preparation duties are performed as a secondary responsibility, based on household needs and instructions.

Key Responsibilities Primary Responsibility – Outdoor Cleaning

• Clean and maintain all outdoor areas, including entrances, balconies, terraces, yards, driveways, and walkways

• Sweep, wash, mop, and tidy outdoor surfaces on a daily or scheduled basis

• Remove waste and keep outdoor areas clean and organised

• Assist with basic outdoor upkeep and cleanliness tasks as required

• Ensure outdoor areas remain safe, hygienic, and presentable at all times

Secondary Responsibility – Cooking

• Prepare daily meals according to household instructions and preferences

• Assist with basic meal planning and food preparation

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and cooking areas

• Wash dishes, cookware, and kitchen utensils after meals

• Store food items properly and maintain kitchen order

General Responsibilities

• Follow household routines and instructions

• Use cleaning tools, equipment, and materials safely

• Maintain confidentiality and respect household privacy

• Report any cleaning supplies or maintenance needs to the employer

Requirements

• Experience in outdoor cleaning and household cooking preferred

• Knowledge of basic hygiene and food safety practices

• Physically fit and able to perform outdoor cleaning duties

• Honest, reliable, and responsible
