Live-in Nursery Teacher (2-Year Contract)

Location: Tirana, Albania

We are looking for an exceptional Live-in Nursery Teacher to become part of our family and provide full-time, dedicated care for our 1-year-old daughter.

This is a full-time, live-in position with a minimum 2-year contract.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and understands that the first years of life are the foundation of a child’s future.

About the Role

Your sole responsibility is our daughter.

From the moment she wakes up until bedtime, your complete focus should be on her care, happiness, learning, development, and wellbeing.

This is not a housekeeping position. We are looking for someone whose entire attention is devoted to our child.

Responsibilities

• Provide loving, attentive, one-on-one care throughout the day.
• Plan educational, creative, and age-appropriate activities.
• Support speech, language, cognitive, sensory, social, emotional, and motor development.
• Read books, sing songs, encourage communication, and create fun learning experiences every day.
• Prepare and feed healthy meals and snacks.
• Follow her daily routine, including naps, hygiene, meals, and bedtime.
• Keep all baby items, toys, clothes, bottles, and nursery areas clean and well organized.
• Maintain the highest standards of hygiene at all times.
• Take her outdoors for walks and activities when appropriate.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and happy environment where she can thrive.

Daily Parent Updates

Excellent communication is essential.

Throughout the day you will keep the parents updated regarding:

• Meals and how much she has eaten
• Milk and water intake
• Nap times and sleep quality
• Mood and behaviour
• Activities completed
• Developmental progress and milestones
• Any concerns or observations

Requirements

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a qualified Nursery Teacher, Early Childhood Educator, or Professional Baby Nurse.
• Has proven experience caring for babies and toddlers.
• Speaks fluent English.
• Is warm, patient, energetic, and genuinely loves working with young children.
• Is highly organized, responsible, and proactive.
• Has excellent knowledge of child development and early learning.
• Maintains exceptional personal hygiene and always provides a clean and hygienic environment.
• Must not use a personal mobile phone while the child is awake. During working hours, your complete attention must remain on the child at all times.
• Is fully engaged with the child every minute of the day and never distracted.
