Nanny to 2.5 year old boy (Irish family)

We are a friendly family looking for a kind, experienced and energetic live-out nanny to care for our happy 2½-year-old son from September.

We are looking for someone with excellent English communication skills, who is confident speaking, reading and engaging with a young child to support his language development.

Our ideal nanny is active, enthusiastic and nurturing, someone who enjoys getting outdoors, taking trips to the park, reading books, singing songs, planning age-appropriate activities, arts and crafts, and encouraging learning through play. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with toddlers and can keep up with an energetic little boy.

Our son will attend nursery two days per week, so the role will involve caring for him after nursery on those days, and providing engaging, development-focused care on the remaining days.

Previous experience caring for toddlers is essential, along with excellent references from previous families. A positive attitude, reliability, honesty and a genuine love for children are very important to us.

We are happy to allow the weekend off unless you are needed for babysitting duties (usually only once per month). Because we are very flexible and we travelquite a bit, someone who already has their own visa would be an ideal candidate for us.
