Western familiy looking for a helper

The Employee agrees to perform the following duties as requirement of her employment:

Household: 

1. Cleaning and tidying of the interior of the home and the immediate areas outside ( Terrace and Entrance)
2. Includes: Kitchen, Dining area, Bedrooms, Bathrooms, Floors, Dusting, Mirror’s, Windows, Doors,…
3. Laundry (clothing and household linens), ironing/general care
4. Bed making, routine bedding and linen changes
5. Organisation: e. g clothing in closets, kitchen cupboards, fridge/freezer and routinely clear out of date and spoiled items
6. Food preparation and cooking
7. Preparing and packing work lunches
8. Preparing the home and catering when we have guests:
9. Occasional Grocery shopping, taking deliveries and other household errands
10. Secure/ supervise tradesmen/contractors when required

Childcare:

1. Shared and sole care of children
2. To put the safety and care of children above all other responsibilities and tasks
3. To tend to child’s basic needs such as feeding, naps, diapers, brushing teeth as required
4. Participate and supervise in safe and fun age appropriate learning activities
5. Participate and supervise activities such as: games, walks, play dates, reading
6. Keep the child’s bedroom and play area clean and organized, which includes disinfecting toys
7. When required planning and preparing healthy meals, snacks and bottles
8. As required be in sole charge and care of the child whilst the mum and father are away from the home, during standard working hours and up to two evenings per week (which may include Thursday or Friday evening)
9. Support the parents in teaching the child good social skills such as good manners, how to share and respect for others property and feelings

Care and Security of the Home:

1. Ensure care and security of the home when the family is away
2. No guests are to stay without prior express permission of the employer.

Pet care:

1. Walking the dog twice a day (morning and evening) and feeding twice a day (morning and evening). Making sure bowls are full of water all the time.

The Employee may be required to look after the Employers’ friends’ children on occasion. The aim of this is to ensure that the Employers’ children develop good social skills.
