Hi, I’m A. Abella. I’m 40 years old and a single mom with four kids from the Philippines. I’d say I’m honest, trustworthy, hardworking, and responsible, and I always try to keep a positive attitude. I’m a Christian and go to church every Sunday. I have over 6 years of experience as an overseas domestic helper. In Saudi Arabia, I worked for 2 years in Riyadh from 2017 to 2019. My job was mainly housekeeping and childcare, and I also took care of two cats. I handled laundry, ironing, gardening, and cooked both Arabic and Western dishes by following recipes. Then, I spent 4 years and 5 months in Hong Kong with a family looking after a newborn baby. I took care of all the household chores, like cleaning, organizing, laundry, ironing, cooking, and shopping. I completed my contract, but they moved to France, so I needed to find a new employer. Next, I worked for a Chinese family with two kids, one 12 years old and the other 2. My tasks included dropping them off and picking them up from school and activities, preparing meals, grocery shopping, and keeping the house clean and tidy. Currently, I’m employed by a half Bangladeshi and half Chinese family. I’m looking after two children who are 11 and 4 years old. My daily responsibilities involve dropping them off and picking them up from school, tutoring the younger one, housekeeping, cooking, laundry, ironing, grocery shopping, and caring for plants and pets. My contract is ending in November, and I’m hoping to find a long-term position with a kind and respectful family where we can have a good working relationship. I really enjoy taking care of children and keeping a home clean, organized, and comfortable. I’m patient, dependable, always willing to learn, and I’m good at working independently while following my employer's instructions.
