My name is Aileen, and I’m 42 years old. I have been working as a domestic helper for 16 years with different employers here in Hong Kong. Right now, I’m with my current employer, taking care of a family of three for almost nine months. I do similar tasks as I have in my previous jobs, like cooking, housekeeping, and looking after children. Unfortunately, my employer has decided to terminate my contract because they don’t need a helper anymore since the kids have grown up.
