Hi, I’m Aiza. I’m 34 years old and I have one daughter who is 13. I’m a single mother, and my parents help take care of her. I come from a big family—I have 6 brothers and 3 sisters. I decided to work abroad to support my daughter and my parents. I started working overseas on March 3, 2020, and I’ll be here until March 3, 2026, staying with the same employer. I take care of their baby, and I’m still looking after him now. When my contract ends, I plan to go back to the Philippines. My job mainly involves taking care of the child, doing some simple cooking, and even baking sometimes. I also do the grocery shopping and take the child to school and pick him up afterward. I prepare lunch for him because both his parents work. While he’s at school, I clean the house, go grocery shopping, wash the clothes, change the bedsheets, and prepare dinner. After school, I pick him up and take him to his afternoon lessons. Sometimes we play at the park, and when we’re at home, we read books and do some exercises together. Thank you for listening.
