Hi ma'am/sir, I'm Alice, but you can call me Liz for short. I'm 55 years old, and I want to apply for the domestic helper position. Right now, I'm working as a call center agent in the Philippines, but I'm hoping to return to Hong Kong to earn and save money to renovate our house. We've been affected by a recent typhoon, and it really needs some work. I’m from Oriental Mindoro in the Philippines, which is in the southern part of Manila. I have three sons who are 33, 31, and 27 years old. I’ve worked in Hong Kong for 20 years, supporting my sons all by myself since my husband didn’t provide any help. I worked with an expat family for seven years, and the rest of my experience has been with Chinese families. Most of my duties involved looking after toddlers and kids. I can cook both Chinese and Western food, and I'm happy to try out new recipes. I also handle housework and shopping. I consider myself an honest and reliable person, and I take the initiative to get things done without needing supervision.
