Hi, I’m Alma, and I’m 53 years old. I’m from the Philippines and have been working as a domestic helper for almost 20 years. I spent 2 years in Taiwan, 2 years in Saudi Arabia, 2 years in Macau, 4 years in China, and now nearly 9 years in Hong Kong with my current employer. They have 2 adults and 3 kids. My work includes housekeeping, cooking, taking care of a cat, and looking after the children. Since my employer is relocating out of Hong Kong, my contract will be terminated, and I will be released on October 1, 2026. I’m now looking for a new employer to work with.
