Hello, ma'am and sir. My name is Alona. I’m 44 years old, and I’m a single mother with one child who is 13 years old.

I started working here in Hong Kong on September 21, 2019, for my first contract, which lasted until 2021. I took care of two adults and two kids who were 5 and 7 years old. My tasks included household chores like cleaning, ironing, marketing, cooking, and looking after the kids. I would also drop them off and pick them up from the school bus, and I handled car washing as well. I didn’t renew the contract because they relocated to the UK.

For my second contract, from September 21, 2021, to September 21, 2025, I worked for a family with two adults and one 6-year-old girl. I did housekeeping, cleaning, cooking, laundry, marketing, and assisted the little girl by bringing her lunch to school and taking her there and back.

I chose not to renew that contract because the grandmother decided to take care of the child, and they didn’t offer a leave settlement.

My third employer I started with on October 21, 2025, had two adults and a 7-year-old boy. I did housekeeping, cleaning, and ensured everything was tidy, along with marketing and cooking. I helped with dropping him off and picking him up from school. Unfortunately, my employer terminated the contract due to losing her temper and misunderstandings. My termination date was August 3, 2026.
