Hi, my name is Alma. I’m 53 years old and I have two children, a son who is 27 and a daughter who is 37. I’ve been working in Hong Kong as a domestic helper for 18 years. My first job was with a mid-level family, where I worked for 8 years and took care of an elderly man. My second job was also with a mid-level family, and I was there for 4 years looking after two children. My third position lasted for 6 years, and I again cared for two children until I completed my contract.

Right now, I’ve been with my new employer for 3 months. However, due to personal reasons, I’ve decided to break my contract, and my last working day will be on October 29, 2026.
