Hi, I’m Arcelie. I’m 50 years old, separated, and I have four children back in the Philippines. I started working in Saudi Arabia as a hospital cleaner, and I was promoted to Housekeeping Supervisor, where I worked for 8 years from 2010 to 2018. As a single mom, I decided to move to Hong Kong in 2019 to support my family. I have 6 years and 11 months of experience as a domestic helper here. Right now, I’m currently on a one-month notice after being let go by a family with two adults and three children, including twins who are 8 years old (one has autism) and a 12-year-old girl with autism. My responsibilities included childcare and household chores. I take my work seriously, even though it can be really stressful sometimes. I always try to maintain a good record at work. Unfortunately, my employer sent me a message on WhatsApp saying that I was terminated because she feels I’m not suitable for her family. I started my job on May 1 and can be released by September 11, 2026. I’m eager to find a new employer. I consider myself trustworthy, hardworking, patient, and dedicated. Thank you for your time.
