Bernadette

Hi, I’m Bernadette. I’m 39 years old and I come from the Philippines. I worked as a domestic helper in Bahrain from 2011 to 2014 for a Jordanian family with three kids, including a newborn. After that, I moved to Abu Dhabi in the UAE, where I spent about 4 years and 4 months working as a cook for an Emirati family from 2018 until 2023. Right now, I’m in Hong Kong working as a domestic helper, taking care of a four-year-old boy and handling some household chores. I'm planning to break my contract when I find a new employer. I also just finished a four-month caregiving course and earned a certificate for it. I consider myself a fast learner, honest, and trustworthy. I really enjoy focusing on my work because it helps me support my family, especially my kids.
