Hi, I'm Candice, I'm 46 years old and currently living in Hong Kong. I've been working as a domestic helper for over 2 years with my current employer. There are 5 members in the household, 2 adults and 3 kids. My main responsibilities include housekeeping, taking care of the kids, and tutoring them. Honestly, working with 3 kids who aren't related to me has been the most challenging yet rewarding experience of my life. Teaching them and trying to instill a positive attitude, especially when they haven't started with me, can be tough. But figuring out what works, like using some reverse psychology, has been really exciting too. For some reasons, my current contract was terminated, and I was released on May 30, 2026, so I'm now looking for a new employer.
