Hello, I’m Carine. I’m 41 years old, married, and I have two daughters. I’m from the Philippines. I’ve been working as a domestic helper in Hong Kong for nine years with two families. My first employer was a Chinese family, and I worked with them for 8 years and 8 months. They had two adults, one child, and a Shiba Inu dog. My responsibilities included taking care of the family, doing household chores, going grocery shopping, cooking, and cleaning. Unfortunately, they relocated to Shanghai, so my contract ended.

Currently, I’ve been with my second employer for almost three months. This is also a Chinese family with two adults and one child. My main duties include cooking, housekeeping, and taking care of the child. However, because of some personal reasons, I’ve decided to break my contract, and my last working day will be on November 3, 2026. I’m now looking for a new employer to work with.
