Carmela

Hi, my name is Carmela. I'm 37 years old and I live in the Philippines. I'm separated and I have two daughters. I studied culinary Asian cooking and basic baking, and I'm also a certified caregiver. I completed two years of Hotel Restaurant Services but didn’t finish my degree.

I have six years of experience taking care of babies and toddlers. I worked for my first employer here in Hong Kong and finished my contract. My second employer has decided to extend my contract until February 4, 2026, while I wait for my replacement helper. So, I'll have completed four years with them by then.

I consider myself a hard-working and honest person. I'm always on time and eager to learn new skills. I'm friendly, helpful, and polite, and I like to keep things light with a good sense of humor. I can manage my work independently in busy situations and also enjoy being part of a team. I have a cheerful personality. When I have time off, I love being in nature. I enjoy hiking, swimming, and running, and I also volunteer for beach clean-up drives.
