Good day, Ma'am and Sir. My name is Carmen, I’m 49 years old and I’m from the Philippines. I’ve been working here in Hong Kong as a domestic helper for over 9 years now. I consider myself hard-working, honest, trustworthy, polite, kind, and I have a strong faith in God. I’m eager to learn new things, especially cooking. My duties with my previous and current employers include cleaning, cooking, taking care of the kids, marketing, washing the car, and sometimes helping the kids with their homework. I start my day at 6:30 am and finish around 10 pm. In the morning, I prepare breakfast for the kids and get them ready for school. I also take them to school and pick them up afterward.
