Hi, I’m Charmaine, and I’m 35 years old. I’ve been a domestic helper for 8 years. I spent 4 years and 4 months in Saudi Arabia, where I worked for a family with 2 adults and 2 kids. My duties included cooking, housekeeping, and caring for the elderly. Currently, I’m in Hong Kong, where I’ve been with my present employer for 3 years and 7 months. I take care of 2 girls and 2 adults, and I am finishing my contract on February 6, 2027. As a domestic helper, I believe our job is to make our employers happy. It’s important to honor and respect them, and to provide them with the care they deserve. I always aim to do my work without needing supervision, and I try to be honest and true to my role as a helper.
