Hi, I'm Cherry, 46 years old, and I'm from the Philippines. I've been working as a domestic helper in Hong Kong for more than 4 years now. My first job was with a Filipino family of 4 members(a working couple and 2 kids ages 4 and 6). My main duties include housekeeping, marketing, cooking, laundry, ironing, child care and pet care. The second was with a Chinese family from July 2002 to July 2004. It is composed of 3 members( a working couple and 1 kid age 10). I do the marketing, cooking, housekeeping, laundry, ironing, car wash, and taking care of their child. The I was employed as a classroom teacher for more than 15 years. Right now, I'm working with my current employer for almost four months. I work for a family of four—a working adult, a 15-year-old son, a 17-year-old daughter, and a dog. I also help with their grandma who comes weekly.
