Hi, I’m Cheryl, and I’m 39 years old from the Philippines. I’ve been working as a domestic helper for over 5 years in two different countries. For 4 of those years, I was in Singapore, where I did a lot of different tasks like cooking, housekeeping, taking care of kids, looking after the elderly, and doing the groceries. Right now, I’m in Hong Kong and have been with my current employer for 1 year and 7 months. I work with two adult family members here. Unfortunately, my employer is relocating out of Hong Kong, so they have to terminate my contract, and I will be release on January 7, 2027.
