Hi, my name is Desi. I'm 33 years old and I'm from Indonesia. I've been working as a domestic helper in Hong Kong for about 7 years and 8 months with just one employer, since January 2019. I work for one adult and one kid. My main tasks include cooking, housekeeping, and taking care of the child. I will finish my current contract on January 1, 2027. In my work experience, I’ve cared for a 3-year-old child and I’ve also looked after three cats. I handle cooking, go to the market, and take the child to and from school, as well as keeping the house clean. I can’t speak much English, but I do speak Cantonese.
